How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit a request by emailing contact@randbventures.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or by calling (725) 777-1696. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request (typically by matching information on file, and for sensitive requests, government ID). You may use an authorized agent with written permission. We respond within 45 days, extendable once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary.
6. Nevada Privacy Rights
Under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, Nevada residents may direct a website operator not to sell certain covered information. R&B Ventures does not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. Nevada residents may still submit a verified opt-out request to contact@randbventures.com, and we will honor it should our practices ever change.
7. SMS & Text Messaging
When you provide your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from R&B Ventures related to your inquiry, reservation, or rental — including booking confirmations, pickup and return coordination, check-in reminders, inspection scheduling, payment notices, and responses to your questions. Some responses may be generated with AI assistance.
- Message frequency varies based on your rental activity. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out anytime by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (725) 777-1696 or contact@randbventures.com.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Opting out of SMS does not affect operational communications required to administer an active rental, which we may deliver by phone or email instead.
8. GPS Tracking Disclosure
All R&B Ventures rental vehicles are equipped with hardwired GPS tracking devices that remain active at all times. By renting a vehicle from us, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
- The vehicle's location, movement, speed, route history, and ignition status are recorded continuously throughout the rental period.
- GPS data is used for fleet security, theft prevention and recovery, verification of compliance with the rental agreement (including geographic and use restrictions), incident investigation, and documentation in payment disputes.
- Our GPS devices include a remote ignition-disable (kill switch) capability. This capability may be used when a vehicle is not returned as required, is reported stolen, is subject to unauthorized use, or when otherwise permitted by the rental agreement and applicable law. It is engaged in a manner designed to prevent the vehicle from being restarted, not to shut down a vehicle in motion.
- GPS records may be shared with our insurer, financial institutions and card networks in connection with disputes, licensed recovery services, and law enforcement as described in Section 4.
- Tampering with, disabling, or removing a GPS device is a breach of the rental agreement and may result in fees, termination of the rental, and referral to law enforcement.
9. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) on our website, access controls on business systems, PCI-compliant third-party payment processing (we do not store full card numbers on our own systems), and vendor platforms with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and in particular:
- Rental agreements, condition documentation, attestations, and communications are retained for the duration of the rental relationship and afterward for as long as needed to resolve payment disputes, chargebacks, insurance claims, or legal claims, and to meet record-keeping obligations — generally up to seven (7) years.
- Payment and transaction records are retained as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- GPS and telematics records associated with a rental are retained at minimum through the applicable payment-dispute and claims windows for that rental, and longer where they are evidence in an active dispute, claim, or investigation.
- Identity verification records are retained per our verification provider's retention practices and as needed for fraud prevention.
When retention periods end, we delete or de-identify information in the ordinary course of business.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children. You must meet our minimum age requirements and hold a valid driver's license to rent a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website and communications may link to third-party sites and services — for example, our online reservation portal, payment pages, and identity verification flows operated by our vendors. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. This policy applies only to information collected by R&B Ventures.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
